What to prepare before use?
- a shower enema nozzle (preferably metal or silicone),
- a shower set with a hose to connect it to,
- access to adjustable water temperature,
- water-based lubricant,
- a towel, intimate wash, patience and... 10–30 minutes of time.
Step by step: how to use a shower enema nozzle?
1. Attach the nozzle to the shower hose
- Unscrew the standard shower head.
- Screw on the enema nozzle.
- Make sure it fits properly – nothing should be leaking.
2. Set the right temperature and pressure
- Lukewarm water (approx. 36–38°C / 97–100°F) – never cold or hot.
- Minimal pressure. Turn on the water gradually – it should be a gentle rinse, not a power jet.
- Some nozzles have a valve – great for precise flow control.
3. Prepare your body and the gear
- Lubricate the nozzle and your anus well with water-based lube.
- Find a comfortable position: squatting in the tub, leaning against a wall, or lying on your side – whatever works for you.
- Gently insert the nozzle no more than 5–7 cm (2–3 inches) – no deeper.
4. Slowly turn on the water
- Start with a gentle stream.
- Let water flow for 10–20 seconds.
- Turn off the water and let it drain – preferably on the toilet or in the shower.
- Repeat 2–4 times until the water comes out clean.
Don’t force the enema! If you feel cramps, pressure, or burning – stop. You don’t need to be sparkling clean inside.

How long does it take?
The whole process takes around 15–30 minutes – don’t rush it. Flushing too quickly = surprise returns later when you least expect it.
Do your enema about 1–2 hours before sex so everything has time to settle down.
Afterwards – what next?
- Clean the nozzle thoroughly: warm water + intimate wash or toy cleaner.
- Dry it off and store it in a clean place.
- Don’t share your nozzle with others – it’s personal, like a toothbrush.
What not to do?
- Never use the nozzle without lubricant – it can damage the mucosa.
- Don’t let too much water in at once – your intestines aren’t a reservoir.
- Avoid daily enemas – it disrupts your natural flora and lubrication.
- Don’t experiment with high pressure – it can cause internal injuries.
Bonus tips
- Test the nozzle on your hand before inserting – check the stream first.
- You can add a manual valve to control the flow yourself.
- Use a panthenol cream afterwards for soothing the anus.
- Worried about being “too loose”? Just rinse the first few centimeters only.
